| Superior Healthcare Services, Inc. (SHS) offers a comprehensive array of services to adults, children and families with various needs. Our services include: Community Support Services, Diagnostic Assessments, Intensive In-Home Services, Targeted Case Management, Outpatient Therapy, Early Intervention Servcies (CBRS), Day Treatment, and Educational Services. SHS serves families in various counties in North Carolina including Anson, Cabarrus, Union, Lenoir, Mecklenburg, Moore, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties. Community Support Services Our Community Support Services program provide a combination of case support and direct care services to adult and child consumers with mental health needs. Community Support is offered in the home, community or school and is structured to provide assistance in basic life domains to ensure stability. Community Support Services assists in collaborating and overseeing coordination of services needed. Outpatient Services Outpatient Treatment is a service designed to address the clinically significant behavioral and/or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs of the recipient(s). This service is provided through scheduled therapeutic treatment sessions, and can be provided to an individual, family, or group. This service includes counseling, education, and other specialized therapy* and collateral work with the family members of the service recipient. Day Treatment Our Day Treatment program is designed to assist children and adolescents, grades K-8, with their educational and therapeutic needs when they have been unsuccessful in a regular school setting. Day Treatment provides mental health and/or substance abuse interventions in the context of a treatment milieu. Services are designed to reduce symptoms and improve functional skills including: functioning in a mainstream educational setting; maintaining residence with a family or community based non-institutional setting (foster home, therapeutic home, residential treatment, etc.); and maintaining appropriate role functioning in community settings. Educational Services Superior Healthcare Services, Inc. supplements the Community Support services by providing tutorial services to consumers, educational workshops and various other educational activities to promote academic success. We are fortunate to be able to provide these supplemental services with the help of volunteers and assistance from Superior Educational Services, a non-profit 501C3 organization. Early Intervention Services (CBRS) Our Early Intervention Services are designed to meet the developmental, behavioral, social, and mental health needs of infants and toddlers ages 0 to 3 and their families. This service is typically done in the home at the convience of the parents/legal guardians, but can also be done within the childcare system. Each family has an individualized family service plan that is developed by a Case Manager assigned by the CDSA. We provide the one-on-one services for the consumers. | ||||||||||||||||||
